Mother Lode Partners with Rotary of Placerville
At the regular meeting of the Mother Lode Union School District, January 15, 2014, President Gene Bist recognized and thanked the Rotary of Placerville, represented by Rotarian Donna Mullens for their generous donations to the students and their families of the Mother Lode Union School District made in December.
The Rotary of Placerville made the Christmas holiday bright for five families and twelve children who attend Indian Creek Elementary School and Herbert C. Green Middle School. The Rotary of Placerville provided individually wrapped Christmas gifts to each child from Santa. This provided sincere joy and appreciation for the parents who were surprised and grateful. The children were pretty excited too. This spirit of giving will not be soon forgotten!
The Mission of the Mother Lode Union School District is the successful education of every student. To accomplish our mission, we strive to nurture partnerships with student, staff and the community. The Rotary of Placerville’s partnership with Mother Lode to help families in need this holiday season serves as a wonderful reminder to us all how great things happen when we work together to support our greater community. The Mother Lode Board of Trustees, administration and staff sincerely appreciate our partnership with the Rotary of Placerville and look forward to future collaborations.
