New Principal Jennifer Kloczko

My name is Jennifer Kloczko and I am thrilled to have been selected as principal at Indian Creek! To share a little about me, I bring to Indian Creek 25 years in education, and am finishing my tenth year as a K-8 administrator. I love being a principal! Prior to being an administrator, I taught for 17 years- everything from Kindergarten through 5th grade. I also served as a Title I Coordinator for five years, and in that role I coordinated our school-wide literacy, intervention, and differentiation. I love kids, leading with joy, and learning!

On a personal note, I enjoy reading, sunsets, hiking, and cooking. My husband Sam is a high school teacher and comic book fan. We have two daughters: Hope is a teacher in New Jersey and mom to our funny grandson Zachary who is two!  Jordanne is a Sac State grad and lives in Sacramento. My parents live in Truckee. I have lived in El Dorado County my whole life-- and my own education began as a wide-eyed kindergartener at Charles Brown many years ago. Both my husband and I are proud Mother Lode district alumni and Ponderosa grads!

I can’t wait to get started in July! I am looking forward to getting to know students, staff, and families and learning all about what makes Indian Creek such an amazing place. Have a wonderful summer!
